Resin statuette based on an illustration for Spirou magazine, issue released October 6 1955.
Produced by Fariboles Productions in collaboration with Raiarox-Passion (available on our
website). Item entirely produced (modeled, painted, assembled etc.) in the Fariboles Productions
studios in Normandy.
Pascal Rodier, the model maker, says:
"Spirou is just so classy! He's the type that can get away with wearing just about anything. In this
model, he's abandoned his usual immaculate bellboy outfit and donned his cowboy gear for a very
special occasion: his buddy Lucky Luke's 70th birthday! And he's looking great! I don't know about
you, but most people I know that try out the red-trouser-epaulette-giant-button look end up looking
like total clowns... And then there's Spirou's accomplice, Fantasio, in his frock coat and top hat,
nonchalantly pulling out a gold pocket watch! Can't get more classy than that!
But the really classy one, of course, is Franquin!"
Production limited to 200 copies.
