Resin, metal, wood : nothing can stop a sculptor

Moulinsart, the famous castle in the adventures of Tintin, is also a brand exclusively producing high quality figurines based on Hergé’s work. From Tintin to Quicke and Flupke figures, there is something for each and everyone of you. Easily identifiable for its famous red box and its roger-roger mascot, Pixi is a legendary figurines manufacture. Specialized in resin figurines, Rouen based Fariboles Productions is well acclaimed for its remarkable sense of detail and an astounding respect for the work it’s based on. Pascal Rodier, Fariboles’ founder is a long-time legend in this trade. In the past few years, Fariboles expanded : Alban Ficat and Eric Delaval, both very talented sculptors, joined the team. Their production is 100% made in France. If you’ve ever came accross a Blacksad figurine, it might have been released by Attakus (based in Montpellier, France). They also shine with their magnificent Star Wars figurines. Speaking of talent, Samuel Boulesteix is definitely one of the all-time greats. He specializes in bronze patina resin as has been acclaimed his pieces such as Olrik, Thorgal, Spirou and Fantasio or Blacksad. Some of his pieces, like his Gaston, are breaking records in auction sales.

A complete immersion into the authors’ work : deluxe albums

Black and White publishing deluxe albums’ shine with their astonishing quantity of bonuses in the albums: archives, interviews, unpublished storyboards... a total immersion in the creative process of the album. Laurent Hennebelle is a well-known publisher that makes all his albums by himself : design, printing, binding... each book is unique and a true masterpiece, released in very few copies. Laurent Hennebelle distinguished himself by his printing techniques: pigment inks for color albums and screen prints for black and white albums. A phenomenal job! Equally acclaimed, Golden Creek Studio, led by Alexandre Gazaï, a legend in the deluxe albums industry. In addition to his deluxe albums, very popular among collectors, he’s a watercolourist and have been releasing his very own version of drawings by authors such as Jean-Pierre Gibrat, Gil Formosa (Buck Danny) or François Walthéry (Natacha). A major deluxe album publishing house, Khani Editions, has been around since 1985! At the helm : Bernard Graillet, who always produces a wide variety of deluxe albums (from XIII Mystery to Largo Winch) with the same passion. Khani Editions has also released many deluxe albums around the work of François Walthéry and his heroine Natacha. When it comes to deluxe albums, we have to mention Bruno Graff, who has released more than 100 deluxe albums! He has notably published series such as: Undertaker, Lanfeust de Troy, De cape et de crocs and Les Indes Fourbes.

Screen print workshops

Established since March 2010 in the Sablons district of Brussels (district of antiques, chocolate makers and art galleries), the Champaka gallery has quickly established itself as a privileged meeting point for comic book lovers. And for non-Brussels residents, their screen prints are also available online. Experience, a Lyon based legendary bookstore specialized in comics since 1973, is also a very talented screen printing workshop. In the 2000s, xperience bought the hand-guided machine from Editions Cornélius Publishing, and their workshop was born. Since then, they have produced several hundred silkscreen prints and silkscreen bookplates by authors such as Franquin, Rosinski, Zep, Lewis Trondheim, Matthieu Bonhomme and Manu Larcenet.

And many other manufacturers with unique know-how
