Nestor is a regular and known character of the Adventures of Tintin, even though he tends to stay
behind the main story. He is a devoted butler who does
his job with great care. Nestor appeared for the very first time in "The secret of the unicorn" in
which you can see him as the loyal butler of the Bird brothers.
These 2 crooks are the main antagonists of the story and made sure to use the loyalty of their
butler against Tintin. If they were two criminals, Nestor never
knew about it, or so he says according to the Thomsons. Since then, the character came back into
the universe of Tintin. His masters have changed since
Cuthbert Calculus has bought the castle of Marlinspike for his friend, the Captain Haddock. Nestor
served both characters in the various Adventures of
Tintin.
Nestor is a loyal butler and appears in many different occasions. He is a constant and reassuring
character who can't be dissociated from Marlinspike.
