Before creating the world of Hunter x Hunter, Yoshihiro Togashi first created a
series named Yu Yu Hakusho in 1990.
Yusuke Urameshi, depicted here at 1/6
scale by Taka Corp Studio, is the main character of this manga. The perfect delinquent, he loses
his life too early while saving a child. This sacrifice is not anticipated by the authorities of the
afterlife, who offer him a chance to return to life. He thus becomes a Spirit Detective, a role that
requires him to protect the human world from supernatural threats.
