"Yet the war rages on and spreads as if it had been bitten."
This image revisits the
world of Enki Bilal's Trilogie Nikopol. This universe is unique, blending current issues
such as dictatorship and the fascination with immortality with science fiction to show us a possible
future.
We find the characters Alcide and Jill, recognizable by her blue hair and lips.
Alcide appears to be wearing a protective chess-boxing helmet, the sport created in this trilogy and
later adapted to the real world. Jill is pressed against his back, her gaze lost in the void.
Signed by Enki Bilal, this pigment print, offered by Christian Colin Editions, is limited to 100
copies. This image is printed in a 50 x 40 cm format. You will also find an embossed Enki Bilal
stamp in the white margin and the publisher's stamps on the back of the print.
