This image is taken from the second volume of La Tétralogie du Monstre, Trente-Deux
Décembre.
In this strange bed, we find two of the main characters of the story: Leyla
and Nike. It is at this moment that he informs her that Amir, their third orphan comrade, is indeed
alive.
This pigment print, offered by Christian Colin Editions, highlights the much-
appreciated style of Enki Bilal. With its colors that seem to be penciled in, he manages to transport
us into a futuristic world that strangely resembles our own. According to Bilal, the past, present,
and future continually blur together. He uses this concept to create a parallel world that exists
because of ours.
Numbered and signed in an edition of 100 copies, this pigment print is
made on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308g paper. Enki Bilal's graphic style is emphasized in this
pigment print, measuring 30 x 40 cm.
