Throughout the Trilogie Nikopol, Alcide Senior and Horus coexist in the former's
body, both against his will and with his consent. Linked together, they encounter Jill, whom Alcide
falls in love with. This complicated relationship evolves throughout the second volume of the
trilogy, La Femme Piège, before ending in the time that elapses between this volume
and the third, as Jill falls in love with Horus.
In this pigment print, La Piscine,
offered by Christian Colin Editions, we find these three characters: Alcide Senior, Jill, and Horus.
In black and white, this drawing highlights the color used for Jill's hair and lips, blue. She
holds Alcide Senior in her arms, but the lighter presence of Horus behind them clearly shows the
connection between these two characters.
Numbered and signed by the author, this
